They explore the story behind the Handmade Parade’s giant sun, a vomiting-hearts puppet and the community of artists turning cardboard, papier-mâché and big ideas into something magical. Melynda also shares how Chaos Club, Procreate and her May Day celebration create space for people of all ages to make art together.
The second annual Handmade Parade takes over Benson First Friday on October 2. Everyone is invited to create, participate or come watch the joyful mayhem.
