Kadesh Abundant Life Mission (KALM) is a movement which encourages persons to explore new ways of thinking and releasing limiting beliefs which negatively impact their future and that of generations to come.
In the Bible, Kadesh was a crucial oasis and encampment in the wilderness during the Israelites' exodus from Egypt, serving as their base for much of the 40 years of wandering.
It was the place from which the spies were sent into Canaan to assess the land and its potential for their inhabitation. The mindset and perspectives of the majority of spies had grave consequences for them and their generations.
Only Joshua and Caleb had a favourable report thereby guaranteeing them access to the Promised Land. All the spies had the same stimulus, but only Joshua and Caleb were able to perceive and focus on the beauty of the land and rested on the Lord's promises while the other spies focused only on the obstacles.
Kadesh symbolizes a place of rest/renewal (being an oasis and campsite) and a pivotal place from which decisions are made which can shape destinies and the future of generations.
KALM uses a holistic approach and seeks to educate, engage, equip and empower persons to recognize their God-given potential, shift negative and limiting mindsets, heal hurts and traumas and provide necessary tools at this threshold between slavery of any kind and the divine destiny of abundant life.
Our mission is transformation through intentional and compassionate exploration, education, engagement and empowerment.
