In this inspiring episode of Randomness with Heath and Josh, the guys sit down with George Olivencia, former Chief of Medical Operations for the United States Army and current USA Pickleball Ambassador, for an incredible conversation about service, perseverance, and passion. George reflects on his remarkable 30-year Army career, sharing stories from the many roles he held throughout his service before ultimately rounding it out as Chief of Medical Operations.

The conversation then shifts to George’s lifelong love of sports, starting with handball and how that passion eventually introduced him to pickleball. What began as a new challenge quickly turned into a calling, as George worked his way into becoming one of the top senior pro pickleball players in America and earned the role of USA Pickleball Ambassador. He also opens up about being diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and how, despite that battle, he continues to inspire others by spreading his love for the game and proving that determination can overcome even life’s toughest obstacles.
