Watch video - What Landlords MUST Do THIS MONTH To Avoid A £7000 Fine Landlords must give the government Renters Rights Information Sheet 2026 to all tenants before the end of May or risk a fine of up to £7000. You can download the official PDF document on the government website at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-renters-rights-act-information-sheet-2026 You must serve the actual document to your tenants, in person, by post or email, and not just send them the link. Landlords should keep a record and obtain a receipt or acknowledgement or proof of service.
