Good morning. Arizona. I'm Aaron Jolly. Arizona is doing its geography thing today. The deserts are about to kiss 80 degrees. The high country? Wind chills near 19 degrees. That's a 70-degree split across one state. In the next 24 hours. Right now we're sitting at 57 degrees in Phoenix. Here's the weird part — that was also our overnight low. The temperature never dropped. That's how mild this air mass is. Central Arizona climbs to 80 by mid-afternoon under sunny skies. Southwest winds kick up around 10 A.M., gusting to 25 miles an hour by 3 P.M. Tonight stays mild at 48 degrees. Down in Tucson, you also hit 80. But here's where things get serious. A Red Flag Warning runs from 1 P.M. To 8 P.M. For Cochise. Santa Cruz. And far southeastern Pima counties. Humidity crashes to 10 percent. Winds gust to 40 miles an hour. Any spark becomes a problem fast. Tonight drops to 39 under clearing skies. Now head north and it's a different planet. Northern Arizona tops out at 52 degrees with gusty west winds to 32 miles an hour. A Wind Advisory runs from 11 A.M. To 7 P.M. Above 5500 feet, a slight chance of snow showers after 11 A.M. Tonight, temperatures crash to 19. Wind chills will feel like 19 degrees by sunrise. Friday brings cooler air statewide — 73 in Phoenix, 70 in Tucson, just 45 in Flagstaff. The weekend rebounds nicely. By Sunday we could hit 85 in the deserts. Rain chances return Monday, then we dry out and warm up again midweek. One last thing — tonight's full moon rises at sunset. With clear skies statewide, it'll be stunning. Just Dress warmly in the high country. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
