Good afternoon. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. That peaceful 34 degrees you're feeling right now? Enjoy it. Winter's got one last surprise up its sleeve. In the next 24 hours., A Winter Weather Advisory kicks in at 6 P.M. For southern New Hampshire. Snow, sleet. And freezing rain move in from the south this evening. If you're down south, precipitation starts around 4 P.M. Central New Hampshire gets hit closer to 5 P.M. The White Mountains stay dry until after 9 P.M. Tonight gets messy. Southern and central areas pick up 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet, plus a light glaze of ice. The mountains see about an inch. The worst of it peaks around 1 A.M. Temperatures drop into the low 20s overnight, with wind chills in the teens. Friday morning's commute looks slick, especially on untreated roads. Snow tapers off by mid-morning, but we stay locked in the low 30s all day. Here's the plot twist. Saturday starts raw with a chance of freezing drizzle. Then a warm front surges through. Sunday we hit 54 degrees. Monday climbs to 59. And Tuesday? A balmy 65 degrees. That's nearly 30 degrees warmer than today and well above normal for early March. Spring equinox is two weeks away, but spring-like warmth arrives early next week. Tonight's full moon will light up whatever snow falls. Today tops out at 40 degrees. Tonight we drop to 26 in the south, 23 central, 19 in the mountains. If you're finding these updates helpful, a quick rating really helps us out.
