Good afternoon. Washington. I'm Aaron Jolly. We're waking up to 47 degrees and gray skies after a soggy overnight. The clouds are hanging around, but here's the silver lining. You're staying mostly dry today. In the next 24 hours. Puget Sound hits 50 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. There's a slight chance of sprinkles before 4 P.M., but odds are you'll dodge them. Southeast winds stay gentle at 5 miles an hour. Head east over the Cascades and it's a totally different vibe. Eastern Washington gets mostly sunny skies and 52 degrees. Just a slight chance of a passing sprinkle before 4 P.M., then clearing out. West winds around 9 miles an hour. Down in the South Sound, you're looking at partly sunny skies and 52 degrees. A chance of light rain before 4 P.M. West-southwest winds 8 to 13 miles an hour. Tonight, the rain returns statewide. Puget Sound and South Sound both see steady rain after 7 P.M. Lows drop to the low 40s. Eastern Washington stays mostly cloudy with a low near 33 degrees and a slight chance of rain and snow after 4 A.M. Friday brings widespread rain across the west side. Highs near 51 degrees with steady rain throughout the day. Eastern Washington gets a chance of rain and snow with a high near 49 degrees. For the weekend. Rain continues Saturday with highs in the low to mid 50s. Sunday brings heavier rain and a cooler push. Monday's when it gets interesting. Snow levels drop sharply. The mountains see significant snow. And there's a chance for a rain-snow mix in some interior lowlands early Monday morning. Enjoy the dry hours today. Tonight's rain is coming for all of us.
