Good afternoon. Wyoming. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you're basking in 60 degrees under bluebird skies. Feels like spring showed up early, doesn't it? Don't get too comfortable. Because winter's about to crash the party tonight. In the next 24 hours., A cold front is barreling in from the west. And it's bringing the whole package — snow, wind. And a temperature nosedive that'll make your head spin. Down in Southeast Wyoming, you'll peak at 61 degrees this afternoon before the bottom drops out. Rain starts around 5 P.M., then flips to snow by 8 P.M. By tomorrow morning you're waking up to 26 degrees with snow flying sideways. North winds gust to 45 miles an hour — the kind that finds every crack in your jacket. Expect 2 to 6 inches, heaviest between Cheyenne and Laramie. Winter Storm Warning in effect. Central Wyoming stays mostly sunny today, topping out near 53 degrees. Rain and snow showers sneak in after 11 P.M. Tonight. Friday morning brings snow showers and a high of 39 degrees. Less than an inch expected, but gusty north winds to 28 miles an hour. Western Wyoming's already seeing snow this afternoon — 1 to 2 inches possible by evening. Another round tonight drops you to 24 degrees. Friday rebounds to 39 under mostly sunny skies. Saturday brings sunshine and a climb to the mid 40s. Sunday warms further into the mid to upper 50s. Monday hits the mid 60s — well above normal for early March. Tuesday might bring a few rain or snow showers, then we're back to the 50s Wednesday. Tonight's full moon will light up that fresh snow beautifully. Enjoy the show. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
