    Feb 27 2026
In this episode, we’re opening a brand new chapter. After years of avoiding the word homemaking, I’m finally claiming it, and renaming this show Modern Homemaking. This isn’t just a new title. It’s a shift in clarity, courage, and calling. For a long time, I resisted using the words homemaking and homemaker in my messaging. I worried about stereotypes, misunderstandings, and being reduced to something smaller than the work I actually do. But over time, I realized something important: the very word I was avoiding was the one my audience was searching for.Today, I’m sharing why I changed the name of the podcast, what modern homemaking truly means, and why I believe homemaking matters now more than ever. This episode is for you if you’ve ever:Felt conflicted about the title “homemaker”Wanted to care deeply about home without being boxed into outdated rolesStruggled with how homemaking is perceived in modern cultureFelt called to create a healthier, happier home, but wanted a more thoughtful approachWe’ll explore:Why I avoided the word homemaking for so longThe uncomfortable realization that people couldn’t find my workThe story of my old baking pans, and what they taught me about growth and letting goWhat modern homemaking really means in today’s worldHow the Holistic Home Method supports mindset, routines, decluttering, design, and cyclical livingModern homemaking is not about shrinking yourself. It’s not about perfection or silent sacrifice. It’s about leadership inside your home. It’s about understanding how your space shapes your mental health, your relationships, and your daily life.In a world that feels loud and divided, tending to home with intention is powerful, and more important than ever..Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you found this podcast by searching for modern homemaking, I’m so glad you’re here.Together, let’s build happier and healthier homes.
