An Airport Ramp Perspective on Philosophy, Spirituality and Mindfulness.
What could an airport ramp worker possibly teach you about philosophy and spirituality?
My name is Orion, and I have spent nearly 25 years working in the aviation industry. Over the years, I have been fortunate to be a part of some remarkable and unbelievable moments behind the scenes at the airport, many of which I will share with you.
In recent years I have been seeking spiritual understanding of what it truly means to live a human existence through independent study of ancient philosophies and religions such as Buddhism, Taoism and Stoicism.
In my upcoming show, The Ramp Philosopher, I will share how practicing this ancient knowledge and wisdom has helped me, a regular working-class guy lead a fulfilling and content life. My hope is to inspire others to explore these teachings for themselves, in an easy-to-understand format, so they too can navigate our turbulent world with greater kindness, compassion and positivity.
