    • Your C-Section May Be Over, But Your Body Isn’t
      Jan 20 2026

Your C-Section May Be Over, But Your Body Isn’t

      The surgery is done.

      The scar has healed.

      Everyone else has moved on.

So why does your body still feel tense, disconnected, emotional or not quite finished?

This episode is not about pathology or what’s “wrong.”

It’s about timing, completion, and the intelligence of the body.

The medical system marks birth as complete when the baby is born.

But the body marks birth as complete when effort finishes, threat resolves, and the nervous system returns to safety.

A C-section can interrupt that biological sequence.

As I share in this episode:

Your body doesn’t run on dates or discharge papers. It runs on experience.

      In this conversation, we explore:

•Why you might still feel on edge months or years after a C-section

•Numbness around the scar or lower belly

•Emotional shutdown or sudden emotional waves

      •Difficulty resting even when exhausted

•Feeling disconnected from yourself or your body

•The quiet belief that you “should be over this by now”

      Your body isn’t broken.

It’s waiting for completion, not explanation.

      Healing doesn’t mean reliving trauma.

It means safety, orientation, reconnection, and gentle nervous system settling, at a pace your body can trust.

      Nothing has gone wrong.

      Your timing makes sense.

      Your body is not behind.

    • Why You Don’t Feel Like Yourself After a C-Section
      Jan 13 2026

Why You Don’t Feel Like Yourself After a C-Section

(And Why Nothing Is ‘Wrong’ With You)

If you’re here, something in your body brought you.

      This isn’t fast content.

It isn’t about fixes, pressure or taking notes.

You don’t need to agree with everything I say.

As we begin, you’re invited to simply notice where my words land in your body.

I created this space because so many women are told to “get on with it” after a C-section. Physical recovery is talked about.

Emotional and nervous system recovery often isn’t.

This episode isn’t about blame, not of staff, not of yourself, not of your body.

      It’s about understanding.

      In this conversation, we explore:

•Why so many women feel numb, foggy, anxious or disconnected after a C-section

•Why functioning doesn’t always mean feeling well

•How even planned C-sections can create shock in the body

•Why these experiences are common and protective, not personal failures

•How the nervous system responds to sudden or overwhelming birth experiences

Many women who don’t feel like themselves after a C-section assume something is wrong with them.

      Often, nothing is.

What you’re experiencing is frequently a nervous system response to an interrupted or intense birth, not weakness, not failure.

      Your body did nothing wrong.

These responses make sense given what you went through.

      Healing isn’t about “moving on.”

It’s about safety, completion and coming back into the body, slowly and gently.

Some women only need understanding today.

Others may feel ready to explore this more deeply.

If you’d like to go further, you’ll find ways to work with me linked below, including the C-Section Confidence & Recovery Program, a body-led, somatic space to support emotional and nervous system healing after C-section.

      You’re not broken.

Your body has been protecting you.

    • Start Here: C-Section Healing Begins in the Body
      Jan 12 2026

Welcome. This is a different conversation about C-section recovery.

If you’ve found your way here after a C-section and you’re functioning… but something still doesn’t feel finished, this channel was created for you.

So many women are told their birth is “over” and that they should be fine now, yet their bodies are still holding something no one ever explained to them.

I’m Divina, a Birth Trauma Recovery Coach and a mother of three, all born by C-section.

My own journey taught me that healing doesn’t come from pushing through or trying harder.

It comes from helping the body finish what it never got the chance to complete.

This channel isn’t about reliving trauma, fixing yourself or forcing positivity.

It’s about understanding what your nervous system has been doing and gently bringing yourself back home.

      Here you’ll find:

      • Nervous system education after C-section

      • Emotional and somatic healing that doesn’t overwhelm

      • Honest conversations that honour your pace

      • A body-led approach that respects motherhood and real life

You don’t need to watch everything.

You don’t need to catch up.

Just begin where something in you says, “yes.”

Everything shared here is body-led first.

And if you ever feel ready to go deeper, you’ll find my C-Section Confidence & Recovery Program linked below, a gentle, structured space to support emotional, physical and nervous system healing.
