    In the next part of my series on living intentionally, I'm talking about intentionally eating. I had no idea how unconscious I had become with my eating. In a go-go-go world, fueling my body felt like a burden and something I didn't have time for. In this episode, I'll be sharing what I'm currently doing to be more intentional with eating and sharing resources that have been instrumental in my journey. This isn't just about intentional eating, it's about intentional living.

    We recently moved to a new location with our kids, and I am STRUGGLING to manage their whining. Despite trying various techniques to help my kids adjust to the new environment, I still find myself at my wit's end with their constant whining.

    As parents, we all know how exhausting it can be to deal with whiny children, especially when we are already overwhelmed with other responsibilities. In today's episode, I'll also be discussing how I am handling it.

  • Life changes and a peek into our new adventure

    Welcome to the latest episode of our podcast! Today, I'm talking about some major changes that have happened in our lives recently.

    My husband recently landed a seasonal chef job in Mackinac Island, and we've decided to move there for the summer. This was a big decision for us, as we've never lived on an island before. But we're excited about the opportunity to explore a new place and meet new people.

    The decision to move was not an easy one, though. We had to consider the logistics of moving, getting settled into a smaller place, and the impact it would have on our family. But ultimately, we decided that it was worth it to take this new adventure.

    Unfortunately, we also experienced a heartbreaking loss recently. Our beloved dog, Stella Luna, passed away, which has been incredibly difficult for us. Losing a pet is never easy, and it's been hard to adjust to life without her. This episode is dedicated to her!

    Despite the sadness we're feeling, we're trying to stay positive and focus on the exciting changes that are ahead. Moving to Mackinac Island will be a new chapter in our lives, and we're looking forward to seeing what it brings.

    Welcome to today's episode of IN HER 30'S, where I'm talking about what happens after you decide to start something new and drive in head first. I'm discussing the importance of continuing with a new habit or goal even after the initial excitement and motivation wear off.

    Many of us have experienced the "honeymoon phase" when starting something new, whether it's a new workout routine, a healthy eating plan, or a personal project. During this phase, we feel motivated, energized, and enthusiastic about our new habit or goal. However, as time goes by, we may start to lose that initial spark and find it more difficult to stick to our new habit or goal and this is where I am right now!

    I recently finished reading Atomic Habits by James Clear and he shares why this happens and how to move forward.

    Remember, building a new habit or achieving a new goal takes time and effort. It's normal to feel less motivated as time goes on so listen in to this episode to learn how you can push through the challenging phases and continue on the path towards success.
