Semester One, Session Three of the Connect4Life Learning Channel

This learning series was delivered as a collection of webinars and workshops, originally a 12-part video compilation of training and sensitivity learning modules. We offer these sessions as archival and historic learning material.

This session uncovers the hidden influences of unconscious bias and breaking its barriers. We raise awareness & understanding of unconscious bias, identify & recognize bias, mitigate bias to promote inclusivity, and foster open dialogue & learning about the subject.

Topics encompass unconscious bias terminology, types of unconscious bias, stereotypes, instinct bias, media bias, sources of bias, consequences of unchecked bias on diversity, and strategies to address unconscious bias.
