My first episode. I introduce the idea behind this podcast - which is to share my experience as a grieving parent - in the hope that it might help other parents to feel less alone with their own grief. I also hope that it might help family and friends of the grief-stricken, to understand how they can provide support.
In this episode I read out my short first journal entry (March 13th, 2022), and ask what mechanisms you have tried, to help you express yourself. Have you journaled? Had the support of counselling? Do you share your words and your feelings with your significant other, family or friends?
Did you experience the kind of shock that I did - in my case, for a period of at least three weeks?
