  • 27. Winter Solstice Reflections on Darkness & Lights
    Dec 21 2023

Happy winter solstice! This is probably one of my favorite days of the year, it's the shortest day of the year if you're in the northern hemisphere, and it's the longest night of the year. I love this day because there are so many beautiful moments of reflection. And as we're leaning into the new year, it's a great moment to pause and reflect. In this episode, I share some key insights and reflections as we look at dark moments and explore the light we want to call into our lives. I also share 3 journal prompts that may help you examine the themes of darkness and light. If you want to take a deeper dive into some reflections for 2023, download my free My Year In Review Workbook.

  • 26. 5 Things To Do This December
    Dec 11 2023

As we approach the new year, I want to share a different perspective on preparation, one that doesn't revolve solely around setting goals.

In this episode I share 5 things that I've been doing that have helped me to close out 2023 with more clarity and less stress, while also setting me up for success in 2024.

    1. Declutter your physical space, including clothes, physical items, emails, apps on your phone, voicemails, text messages, and photos.

    2. Throw away expired items in your medicine cabinet, pantry, fridge, skincare, and makeup.

    3. Book dentist, doctor, therapy, and eye doctor appointments, as well as other necessary check-ups.

    4. Make time for your relationships by prioritizing spending time with loved ones and deepening your relationship with yourself.

    5. Lean into self-care by prioritizing hydration, rest, boundaries, and nourishing foods.

Also, the doors are open for my 10 week group coaching program - NOURISHED - which will be a great experience for you if you want more guidance, support, and accountability to the goals and desires that you seek for yourself in 2024 to be healthier, happier, and fulfilled. • 25. Embrace Alignment Over Achievement to End 2023
    Dec 4 2023

It's December 2023 and I want to shift our focus from the conventional hustle to finishing the year aligned with our values. Through this episode, I'll share my journey of navigating through times when I felt completely out of alignment, and the profound impact this had on my overall well-being.

We often chase goals and milestones, thinking that's what success looks like. But what if the real success lies in harmony with our values?

In this episode, I talk about the importance of recognizing when something doesn't feel right and how making conscious choices to prioritize alignment can drastically reduce stress, enhance our relationships, and lead to better decision-making.

One of the most moving moments of my life was at a retreat where I had the opportunity to identify my core values. This experience brought me to tears, as I realized these values were not something I'd previously given much importance to. Yet, they were the keys to unlocking a more authentic, fulfilling way of thinking, behaving, and being.

If you want to dive deeper into your values and how to live a more nourished life, join me for my NOURISHED 10-Week Group coaching program - click here.

  • 24. How Yoga Helped Me Embrace & Thrive in Discomfort, Fear, and Uncertainty
    Oct 30 2023

Over the past five weeks, my commitment to practicing yoga at least five days a week has not only sculpted my body but has also profoundly reshaped my soul.

The physical benefits, including weight loss and increased strength, have been evident. However, it's the emotional and spiritual renewal that has left an indelible mark on my life. Navigating through a tumultuous period, yoga has become my sanctuary, teaching me to find solace in discomfort. Whether I am contorting into a challenging pose or confronting the ebbs and flows of life, this practice has transformed me into a more grounded, resilient individual, less swayed by external chaos.

As I delve deeper into self-awareness, I've come to a profound realization - I am not broken. I am in a continuous state of healing. Recognizing and acknowledging the areas that need mending has been liberating. The strength I've cultivated—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—through yoga has given me the courage to sit with my most trying emotions without feeling inundated.

Opening up further, I share a recent discovery: my battle with high-functioning depression. A cloud that loomed over me for two years, making me feel detached from my essence. Yet, yoga has been that beacon, guiding me toward confronting my discomforts and seizing opportunities for growth and healing.

When faced with moments of unease, breathe through it. Trust in the process.

  • 22. Are You Neglected or Nourished?
    Sep 11 2023

In the hustle and bustle of our fast-paced lives, it's all too common for women to find themselves continually neglecting their own needs and well-being, often at the expense of their physical and mental health. The constant juggling of responsibilities, paired with societal pressures and self-imposed guilt, has led many to put themselves last on their ever-expanding to-do lists.

As a Wellness Coach, I am passionate about shedding light on the detrimental effects of neglecting oneself and providing actionable steps to break free from this cycle of self-sacrifice.

Here are the key takeaways from this episode:

    • Neglect can manifest in various ways, even small actions like not taking breaks to address personal needs.
    • Neglect can lead to difficulty focusing, irritability, and despair.
    • Neglect often stems from internal narratives and childhood trauma.
    • Changing beliefs and rewriting narratives are essential in breaking the habit of self-neglect.
    • Prioritizing self-care practices and setting boundaries are crucial in overcoming neglect.

  • 21. Do You Need To Write A New Story?
    Aug 7 2023

Are you choosing your vision and the life that you want or the goal that you want, or the experience that you desire? OR are you gonna choose to listen to the story that's telling you that you don't deserve it and that you can't have it, and that it's not available to you for whatever reason? You have a choice. If you wanna change, you have to change your story.

In this bonus episode, I share an IG Live replay that focuses on the importance of changing the stories that are holding you back.

    Here are the key takeaways:

    1. Identifying Stagnation Patterns: The three common ways people become stuck in life – self-neglect, self-sacrifice, and self-sabotage. Recognizing these patterns is crucial for breaking free and pursuing our true desires.

    2. Power of Stories and Beliefs: Our personal stories and beliefs shape our behavior and success. Sharing their own experience, they highlight the transformative impact of rewriting a story to align with ease and flow, fostering greater fulfillment and impact.

    3. Mindset's Role in Action: A shift in mindset is portrayed as a catalyst for action and goal achievement. By challenging negative beliefs, upgrading stories, and embracing a positive perspective, listeners are empowered to take charge of their narratives and pursue personal growth and success.

  • 20. How to Practice Feeling Self Love and Self Care
    Jun 21 2023

In this episode, I want to talk to you about something we all struggle with -  self-love and self-care. It can be tough, even when we know what we should be doing. But here's the thing: it's crucial that we give ourselves permission to accept where we are in our journey. We need to get curious about why we feel the way we do. The practice of self-love, compassion, and care starts with actively tending to our needs.

We must check in with ourselves, listen to what we truly need, and then have the courage to act on it, even if it feels uncomfortable or goes against popular opinion. It's about having our own backs and showing up for ourselves every single day. Remember, you deserve love and care, so don't hesitate to give yourself what you need.

Here are 3 practices that you can start to incorporate into your day to lean into feeling and embodying more self care, love, and compassion:

    • Set intentions every morning and align behaviors throughout the day accordingly.

    • Engage in mirror work, focusing on self-love and speaking words of affirmation.

    • Engage in activities that bring feelings of love, support, vitality, fulfillment, and happiness without fixating on specific goals or milestones.

Give these practices a try and feel free to connect with me for further exploration of your own self-care and compassion needs.
