À propos de ce contenu audio

Dane Swan is talking footy and irrelevant life issues. Mainly the latter.

Host "Racetrack" Ralphy Horowitz is joined by Samantha Riches as Dane’s two regular friends talking irregular gibberish and generally just ripping the piss.

      Final Transmission (Maybe…):

After seven years, 431 episodes, a global pandemic, a post-mail tampon, a Hall of Fame nod, and far too many boat party references — the mics go cold (for now). Swanny, Samantha and Ralphy gather for one last session of loose yarns, life musings, fantasy NFL updates, childcare chaos, parenting wisdom (?) and the occasional stroke of actual sports insight. Is this the end or just a long halftime break? We don’t know either. But thanks for riding shotgun. We’re keeping the socials open, just in case the band gets back together.

Bulletproof Bets, Benders & Being a Jockey. While Swanny eventually drops in (fresh off another racing-week bender), Sam and Ralph hold the fort with racing royalty Simon Marshall—16-time Group 1 winner turned TV frontman. From surviving 4am starts and 48kg weigh-ins to collapsing in saunas and catching grapes with your face at Blanc de Blanc, Simon’s stories have it all. We dive into the wildcard finals debate, reflect on Cup Week chaos, and yes… Dane tries to remember where he was, what day it was, and whether he saw his kids.

The cast is all over the place in this episode but we brought you one so lucky you.

You can catch Simon's insights on Racing.com and Channel 7's horse racing coverage

Winking at Royals & Surviving Cream Pies – with Tony Jones

It’s hump day and Channel Nine’s Tony Jones joins Swanny, Samantha & Ralphy for a Melbourne Cup Week warm-up filled with racing tales, newsroom chaos, and the time he winked at Princess Di. From dodging Queen invites and surviving Eddie’s boardroom roasts to covering turf tantrums and trackside tripods, nothing’s off-limits. We talk Lou Richards memories, Mick Malthouse blow-ups, and why Billy Slater on horseback nearly stole the show. If you like your sports media with a side of scandal and a dash of self-deprecating truth, this one’s for you.
