Sometimes disappointment can feel like a setback, especially when we’ve been in momentum towards our dreams.
How do you usually handle disappointment? And does that lead to positive outcomes?
Our default tendencies when disappointed often create a negative disruption in our lives:
· We become frozen and unable to move towards our dreams.
· We get stuck in blaming ourselves or someone else.
· We believe that our disappointment is a sign that we will never have what we want.
· We become angry and our choices can become destructive.
These methods of handling disappointment take the wind out of our sails and leave us unable to continue in the direction of our dreams.
