The purpose of this podcast is to help you build a successful volunteer program for your church. Simply stated, that is it, but simple the task is not. It will require a large dose of common sense, combined with a solid understanding of people, a dab of contemporary management and leadership theory, plus a large amount of praise and recognition. People volunteer for many different reasons and the more we know about our volunteers the easier our attracting them and the higher our retention rate.  Getting and keeping good people is really the key to a successful volunteer program for your church.
