As soon as I was old enough, I took part in global conservation projects from turtle conservation in Mexico to spider monkey rehabilitation in Bolivia. After studying Zoology and Biology at Cardiff University and an MSc in Palaeontology at the University of Bristol, I worked in natural history television for 15 years on series such as Blue Planet II.
