  • HSC 2026-05-18 Written in Heaven - Tamara Bauttager
    May 18 2026
Today’s devotional begins with an experience Tamara had with infertility. Following this, we move on to a discussion of using video and other multimodal projects to help children explain their learning. In Curriculum Corner, we then highlight the advantages of using a virtual high school to support your homeschooling high school students. Building on these themes, we begin our interview with Tamara, who explains how uncertainty and pain can make it tempting to doubt God’s presence. But what if we saw each day of our lives as part of a divine plan shaped before we were even formed?

  • HSC 2026-05-15 The Beginning of LifeTalk Radio - Paul Moore
    May 15 2026
This archived show is an interview with Elder Paul Moore (October 4, 1933 — November 6, 2023), founder of Life Talk Radio. As a child, he often walked barefoot to school until the weather became cold. He started working in the fields and orchards with his family when he was very young. By the age of five, he was picking asparagus. Being so young, he was allowed only half a wage. By the age of eight, he was earning a man’s wage. In October 2001, Moore was given the Society of Adventist Communicators' "Award of Pioneering Innovation" for creating the network. In 2002, Moore retired as president of LifeTalk Radio.

She is a dynamic speaker who travels around the world to speak at churches, camp meetings, evangelistic meetings, women’s retreats, organizations focused on preventing domestic violence, and various seminars.

    May 13 2026
Today’s devotional is about Tent Caterpillars. I have used these creatures for numerous science experiments, but probably the most fun is having races with them. During our Questions Parents Ask section, we talked about how you really know God. Our guest today is Brenda Walsh, a television host/producer and best-selling author of many books, including her life story, Battered to Blessed; a five-volume set of children’s books, Miss Brenda’s Bedtime Stories; and devotional books, Moments with God and Strength for Today.
