À propos de ce contenu audio

"Help and Hope for Families" is a broadcast whose goal is to help good marriages get better and to bring help and hope to couples who are struggling in their marriage, all from a Biblical foundation. Scott and Catherine Mercer, the directors of FamilyLife here in the Pittsburgh area, are co-hosts interviewed by Tim Tucker, who share what FamilyLife is doing in this area via the "Weekend to Remember" getaway weekends in November,at the Marriott North in Cranberry Township, as well as other resources that churches or individuals can use in their marriage ministries. These programs will have occasional guest help from a certified Christian counselor as well as the testimonies of other FamilyLife local team members.© 2025 "Help and Hope for Families" Christianisme Ministère et évangélisme Spiritualité

    • "WHAT ARE THE 'B - E - S - T' MARRIAGES?" - 8/8/24
      Jan 24 2026

Pittsburgh FamilyLife Affiliate staff member, Tim Tucker, interviews Scott and Catherine Mercer, part of our Pittsburgh FamilyLife team, and Tom and Pam Jones. Tom is an associate pastor and licensed professional counselor, and Pam is a real estate agent in the Pittsburgh area.

They discuss what are the 'B-E-S-T' marriages (B=Blessing, E=Edifying, S=Sharing, T=Touching), and how husbands and wives can be more sensitive to each other. As we unselfishly give ourselves to one another, it produces the kind of relationship that honors God, honors each other, and is a witness for Christ to those around us!
