In life as our activities change with lifestyle, bodyparts no longer perform as they once did and occassionally fail causing pain, discomfort and injury. I did in a previous episode speak about "listening to your body" and acting, however if the signs were missed and injury does visit there is the option of a quick fix - surgical intervention in many cases of joints, bones, and muscles. My experience has been while avoiding the scalpel, being cautious, taking care and working diligently on stregthening allowing the body to heal itself works. It takes time and is a longer term investment in understanding the body which I feel is a healthier option.

A person’s first experience in a tough, high‑pressure, or even dangerous situation is often also referred to as baptism in a way. Life at sea is not only about a glamorous lifestyle with perks, visiting places and a friend in every port. It is about risks, hardships, being away from home for extended periods and finally succeding in completing the main goal of a maritime adventure which is getting commercial goods to a destination for the wellbeing of humanity.
