Welcome to Hat Business's spooky Halloween series!

Has Halloween stolen her giggles? Is something spooky going on? Or are Ruby's jokes simply that bad?

In this adventure Ruby discovers that being a good friend isn't about making someone happy. It's about being there, even when they're having a day that feels a little gloomy.

Spooky surprises, silly laughs and friendship with a little Halloween magic. What could possibly go wrong?

Ruby is fishing. She has been waiting for approximately three hundred years.

Or, according to Hat, forty minutes.

But when Ruby’s fishing rod finally gives a tug, she discovers something much stranger than the normal fish she was expecting.

Join Ruby and Hat for a funny seaside adventure about patience, curious creatures and why the best bits sometimes happen when you’re not expecting them.

There’s fishing, a little fishy science, a very important puffer-fish fact and, naturally, several fish who may or may not be named Barry and Susan.

Hat Business is an Award Winning funny, screen-free podcast for curious kids, packed with silly adventures, big questions, Australian nature and tiny moments of learning.

Ruby is missing.

And for once, Hat has the house all to himself.

Which sounds excellent… until it turns out that waiting for your best mate is actually incredibly boring.

Hat searches the house, checks the backyard, retraces their favourite adventures and even asks a few highly suspicious household objects for clues.

But this isn't really a detective story.

It's a story about missing someone you love, watching your best friend grow up, and discovering that growing bigger doesn't mean growing apart.

A gentle, funny and slightly wobbly Hat Business adventure for kids and grown-ups about friendship, growing up and the people who make ordinary days feel like adventures.

And don't worry. Ruby does eventually come back.
