This week, Natalie and Jerold Mitchell of Suite Run sit down with Dominique and Kenneth King to cover

      Topics discussed:

      1. Run Story 2. Running together 3. Creating and sustaining a business together
      2. Quality Time 5. Challenges 6. Parenthood/ children
      3. Legacy 8. Suite Run Podcast 9. Whats up next for them individually, together and as a family

About Natalie Mitchell: I am a certified running coach (including CPR and First Aid) through Road Runner's Association of America. I've written many articles for Women's Running Magazine, am an Ambassador for Brooks Running and have coached many athletes to their first marathon and beyond. I currently coach in person and on line athletes in distance running (including coaching HS cross country). I was a Division One cross country and track athlete at UC Santa Barbara and I have run 12 marathons so far with a PR of 3:05 in the marathon (2019) and 1:27 in the half marathon (2018). I have been coached by some of the best coaches in the sport and I'm currently training to run a much faster marathon. Instagram is HERE and my blog, Natrunsfar is HERE. I also host the Suite Run podcast with my husband Jerold, where we talk to passionate runners each week about running and travel.

About Jerold Mitchell: Jerold ran track for Division One St. Mary’s College and has run one marathon (never say never to another someday!). He enjoys shorter long distance runs and is the host of the Suite Run Podcast with his wife Natalie.

Jerold and Natalie have been married for 20 years and have been running together for longer than that! They share three amazing kids (15, 11 and 9) and live an active, outdoor life in Southern California.

    • Jasmine Guadalupe
      Mar 20 2022

This week Dominique and Jasmine talk about

Jasmine discusses her upbringing and how her passion to help her community took her on the path of becoming an attorney. Figuring out she was not cut off for criminal law she moved into litigation. 2020 she found her way back to nature after suffering from panic attacks and being laid off from her firm during the pandemic.

One trip with her PIN (partner in nature) began her journey to creating Hood Hikers. Hood Hikers is a safe space that is welcome to all but centers the BIPOC community to feel safe and comfortable in the outdoors. Hood Hikers is a for profit company that is very intentional about its footprint within the community.

Jasmine is moving unapologetically and intentionally about building legacy, wealth, health, and community through her love of the outdoors.
