Today, I sat down with Dr. Patrick Kennell to discuss his teaching experiences and gain some insight on the benefits and struggles of being a foreign and second language educator.

Dr. Kennell is the director for the Center for Intensive English Studies at Florida State University. In addition to holding a PhD. in Multicultural/ Multilingual Education from FSU, Dr. Kennell has over 37 years of experience teaching English, not only at CIES, but also in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Denmark.
