Opening theme by Will Rice.

This episode focuses on negative, disruptive, or dangerous hauntings and outlines a process to determine whether activity is tied to the property, an object brought into the home (especially antiques or salvage), or a “human agent” linked to stress or unsafe spirit communication. Tanner recommends “catchall” steps to reduce activity, then escalating to setting boundaries, cleansings (sage, prayer, clergy blessings), and potentially hard religious intervention while carefully screening deliverance ministers.

This episode explains how everyday people can conduct a basic paranormal investigation at home and how investigators can use the same steps with clients. Tanner emphasizes starting with documentation using a central notebook to log detailed entries (time, location, sensations, sounds, movements) to identify patterns and “hotspots,” often revealing natural causes like lighting, vibrations, construction, or electrical issues. When activity seems infrequent or spontaneous, the host recommends capturing photos, video, and audio with a phone, and optionally using 24/7 Wi‑Fi cameras or motion detectors (e.g., Ring, Blink, Arlo) and reviewing footage nightly. If activity appears verified, research the person/family and the property via tax records, deep web searches, newspaper archives, ancestry resources, libraries, and historical societies.
