We all want to be loving people. But real people can be ungrateful, inconvenient, and hard to serve. So is it worth it?

In this message, Pastor Brandon Petty walks through the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25–37. When an expert in religious law asked Jesus, "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus told a story that flipped the question: not "Who deserves my help?" but "Who will I be a neighbor to?"

You'll explore:
• Why love in practice is harder than love in our imagination
• How the overlooked Samaritan was the one who truly saw
• Why serving will often feel like losing, and why it's worth it
• Five practices for serving like Jesus: proximity, compassion, humility, consistency, and gratitude

As you watch, ask: Who is God inviting me to see this week, and what might it cost me to help?

In this message from Pastor Brian Boyne, we explore what it means to become people of service through Jesus’ encounter with a man with leprosy in Matthew 8:1–4. Jesus meets the man’s unexpected interruption with compassion and willingness. His example invites us to become more available to the people God places in our path. Discover how ordinary moments can become opportunities to practice the way of Jesus where we live, work, and play.
