 Josiah Shackleford, a 6'9" forward from Greenville, North Carolina, has been passionate about basketball since his early days. After playing at several institutions, he had a standout junior season at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. During the 2024–25 season, Shackleford averaged 17.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game, with a field goal percentage of 56.2% .​ His mother has been a significant influence in his life, instilling in him the values of hard work and perseverance. Recently, Shackleford signed an NIL deal with DeVore Sports, reflecting his growing prominence in collegiate basketball.
