À propos de ce contenu audio
In this episode of On Air & Off Script, host Karyl Morris sits down with former broadcaster turned podcaster Brooke Allen for a deeply personal conversation about grief, rejection, and the unexpected paths life takes.
Before her long career in broadcasting, Brooke took a leap and moved to California to pursue acting, but after being told by an agent she “wasn’t pretty enough,” her plans shifted in a way she never anticipated. She eventually returned to Michigan, where she built a successful career in broadcasting, proving that sometimes the dream you end up living looks different than the one you started with.
Brooke also opens up about navigating profound grief and tragedy, sharing what it means to keep going while giving yourself grace along the way. This episode explores what it means to move forward when life doesn’t go as planned and how resilience is often built in the moments we didn’t choose.
