This week I'm chatting with Filmmaker, Trainer, and Domestic Engineer, Cynthia Martinez. During the pandemic Cynthia was moved to capture and illuminate the stories on first generation high school students navigating the road to college while also being locked down. From her own upbringing, she knew that the road to college for many is much harder without a network and resources. In our conversation we cover what her experience was like, the similarities in our high school years, and a sneak peak at the moving stories she is telling with her film.
