Hi, I’m Susy Gordon, founder of Mega Mission Media and creator of Seeker of Story (SOS), a platform built to give people access to founder journeys, life blueprints, and transformation stories without subscriptions or paywalls.
My background spans 25+ years in corporate consulting, strategy, project delivery, and business transformation, along with 10+ years in radio, television, and media production. Looking back, every season was preparing me for this one.

After walking through personal hardship and major life transition, God used even the most unexpected places to redirect my path, including rideshare driving. For nearly three years, my vehicle became a rolling meeting room where entrepreneurs, founders, attorneys, dreamers, and people in transition crossed my path. One passenger became my boss. Another passenger introduced me to 1 Million Cups. Those conversations helped shape the vision I’m building today.

In June 2025, I walked away from my corporate career and left a $155K salary on the table in full pursuit of faith expansion, purpose, and the vision God had been building in me for decades. That decision became the launch point for Mega Mission Media and Seeker of Story. One became the revenue engine. The other became the impact platform. Together, they represent the intersection of strategy, storytelling, transformation, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.

Mega Mission Media is the revenue engine: helping businesses strengthen digital presence, media, operations, AI adoption, websites, and storytelling. Seeker of Story is the impact platform: a growing database of journey blueprints and stories designed to help people who need guidance but can’t afford expensive memberships, masterminds, or gatekept communities.

I believe purpose leaves clues, stories carry strategy, and sometimes the roadmap you need is hidden inside someone else’s journey.

These days, I live intentionally. Everything I do carries purpose, vision, and a mega mission that is setting sail across Dallas–Fort Worth and beyond. 🚗☕ Nothing is beneath me, nothing..

Most people avoid this conversation. Lena Killion built a business around it.

After decades crossing industries — construction, aerospace procurement at Bell Helicopter, stay-at-home motherhood, competitive bodybuilding, and a stint inside one of DFW's largest funeral homes — Lena Killion finally found the work she was always meant to do.

And it started with her grandmother.

When her grandmother passed, she left nothing behind but love. No financial burden. No arguments at the funeral home. No family members scrambling to figure out what she would have wanted. She had pre-planned everything — and that quiet, dignified exit changed the way Lena saw the world.

Then a headhunter called about a funeral industry job Lena did not want. She said no. The headhunter called back two months later. Lena heard it as a sign, took the job, immersed herself completely — and watched families come in at their absolute lowest and get turned away because they could not afford the services.

She walked out without a plan. It was the best decision she ever made.

Today Lena runs MLK Pre Arrangements — an independent funeral pre-planning company that works with approximately 40 funeral home locations across Texas and multiple states, giving families options, pricing transparency, and a plan before they ever need one.

In this Becoming Blueprint you will hear:

• How her grandmother's pre-planned death became the blueprint for her business
• What she witnessed inside a large corporate funeral home that made her walk out the door
• How she saved one family $8,300 on a headstone — and delivered it in three weeks
• What it means to be an independent pre-need broker and why it matters
• How a radio segment she recorded months earlier suddenly blew up her phone at 5:40 in the morning — two days in a row
• What she would tell anyone who is burned out, laid off, or sitting in a season of quiet time
• Why she believes networking is not just for business owners — and what she is doing about it

About MLK Pre Arrangements

MLK Pre Arrangements is a funeral pre-planning and pre-need specialist company serving families across Texas and multiple states. Lena is a Licensed Pre-Need Agent and Commissioned Notary, licensed in Texas, Illinois, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and additional states.

She does not work with corporate funeral chains. She works for the family.

After spending 25 years in the travel and tech industry working with companies like Expedia, Orbitz, Vegas.com, and Sabre, Carrie Carter found herself unexpectedly laid off... twice in three years.

Instead of giving up, she used reflection, prayer, AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, and her deep love for Fort Worth to identify a gap in the city: there was no immersive local tour company helping visitors and residents experience Cowtown beyond the stereotypes.

That realization became Cow Town Tour Co., a mobile experience company offering curated food, brewery, burger, margarita, and private tours throughout Fort Worth.

In this episode, Carrie shares:

• How layoffs forced her into reinvention
• Why resilience matters more than certainty
• How AI became a brainstorming partner during transition
• What it really feels like to pivot later in life
• Why entrepreneurship is about serving people
• How creating memories became her business model
• The power of word-of-mouth marketing and community

This conversation is packed with practical insight for founders who are:

• navigating career transitions
• scared to launch
• rebuilding after setbacks
• exploring AI for business ideation
• trying to create purpose-driven businesses
