À propos de ce contenu audio

Welcome to the wild world of the Free Form Rock Podcast, where we embrace every riff, solo, and scandalous hairdo from the glorious era of rock! If you’re a purist, a metal elitist who believes that any sound that isn’t an 8-minute guitar solo is akin to sacrilege, then this is your warning: you might want to turn down the volume and stick to your ‘perfect’ playlist filled with only the heaviest and most obscure bands that your no-caffeine diet can handle.

Here, we celebrate everything from shaking your head to classic rock anthems to moshing like a maniac at a metal concert! We love all the forms of rock—classic, metal, and everything in between. So, if your idea of a good time is debating over which band had the best leather pants, you’re in for quite the ride!

Sit back, relax, and remember: we don’t take ourselves too seriously—because if we did, we’d be stuck in the ‘70s, arguing over whether Led Zeppelin was better than Black Sabbath while wearing questionable platform shoes. Join us as we rock out the way rock was meant to be—loud, unapologetic, and just a little ridiculous! Tune in, turn it up, and let’s jam through the delightful chaos of our favorite tunes together!Copyright 2016 All rights reserved ScifiMarc LLC.

  • Episode 560-The Dust Coda- Mojo Skyline
    Apr 17 2026

    🎙️ THIS WEEK ON AMERICA’S PODCAST 🎙️

We dig into a band that somehow dropped THREE albums and still feels like rock’s best-kept secret—The Dust Coda and their album Mojo Skyline.

Is this thing a full-on rocker… or does it stall out like your car when you crank the volume too high? 🚗💨 Either way—it’s a must listen, especially for the humor, hot takes, and straight-up shenanigans from the crew.

Joining us is family member Tim Wirasnik, and let’s just say… things get loud, opinionated, and possibly slightly out of control (just how we like it).

🔥 TRACKS OF THE WEEK 🔥

    • Jerry: Breakout – Night Ranger
    • Mooger: Dangerous Love – The Karma Effect
    • Tim: Make It Real – Scorpions
    • Marc: Dancing – Joe Satriani & Steve Vai (because one guitar god isn’t enough 🤘)

  • Episode 558-Anthrax-Persistence Of Time
    Apr 3 2026

    🎙️ This Week on America’s Podcast…

This week we crank up the thrash machine and dive into Persistence of Time by Anthrax with family members Eric Lussier and Tim Wirasnik.

This album is darker, heavier, and moodier than a metalhead who just found out his favorite band replaced the guitarist with a keyboard player. The big question is… should this album be discharged… or have we got the time to let it spin? No spoilers, but expect riffs, opinions, and possibly some friendly family thrash talk. 🤘

As always, we also bring the Tracks of the Week, proving once again that this rock ‘n’ roll family has musical taste that goes everywhere—from thrash to glam to melodic death metal.

    🔥 Tracks of the Week

    • Mooger — Quicksand Jesus by Skid Row

    • Jerry — To the Last Breath by Arch Enemy

    • Eric — Not Your Toy by My Sister's Ghost

    • Tim — Seven Days Over You by Poison

    • Marc — Fight Fire with Fire by Metallica

So grab a drink, crank the volume to “annoy the neighbors” level, and join the family as we debate whether this Anthrax classic still crushes or should be left in the thrash time capsule.

Until next week, keep it in the family and make sure you’ve got the time to spend with the people you love. We are out.
