Quick personal story, Jack The Bear Mastered two of my bands EP's back in the early 2000's and I've followed him on social media since around that time. So since starting this podcast he has been on my wish-list of Podcast guests for a while. We cover so much ground in this episode, it was such an honor to have him on the show and be so open and honest. I really want to extend my thanks him for that. We cover what is Mastering, we talk about music in general, his journey on the carnivore diet, mental health, fitness, drug addiction. All of it.

Happy New Year folks! Welcome to 2024! We're starting off this year with a great friend of mine Josh Durno from the Tassie 3-piece 'The Sketches'! It's almost been 4 years to the day since Josh was first on the podcast, way back in Jan of 2020. Josh made his way up to Victoria from his beautiful home state of Tasmania for a bit of a holiday, so I thought I'd get him on the show in person. This is actually the first in-person chat on the podcast for a while. Josh is always fascinating to chat with, it was so good to see him again. An Australian rock power trio who have been about the scene for the last few years. The band is best described as playing Hard Rock blending heavy groove based riffs with melodic rock melodies. Executed with enough precision, balls and musicianship to mix it up with four and five piece outfits.

Hello my friends!!! I'm so sorry it's been a few months since the last episode! Things have been very busy and I've had to focus the little spare time I have, entirely on music. But I'm happy to be back with you here for episode #84 where we have our very special guest Jörg aka @Riff_Madness on Instagram, back on the show to discuss Metallica's 'St Anger' album 20 years on from it's release! No, it's not everyone's favorite Metallica album. But as we discuss in this episode, it's a very necessary Metallica album. It was very interesting looking back on this album. I initially bought this album when it first came out in 2003 but have rarely revisited it since. It was fresh to me all over again.

It was great to catch up once again with Jörg who is based in Germany, we both love our Metallica and he was lucky enough to see them live recently and gives us a rundown on his experience at the show. In her own words Vanessa is an independent musician, ex heroin addict/thug, an adult human female, animal and women's right campaigner. And if I could add to that, she was front-woman of one of my favorite bands a decade ago called 'Valentiine'.
