    Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 on the night Fenerbahce in the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie, winning the tie 4-2 on aggregate. It was a poor performance from the Reds against a Fenerbahce decimated by injuries and suspension having named an 18 man squad with three goalkeepers included. Forest fell two goals behind at the City Ground, needed a Callum Hudson-Odoi goal to settle nerves on a night when senior players were sloppy and squad players again failed to impress. Forest had seen West Ham draw with Bournemouth on Saturday as the gap to the relegation zone was trimmed to two points and having played well at the City Ground the gap remains the same. Forest will rue not taking advantage of a strong first half before fading after the break.
