In this message, Shannon explores the journey many Christian's experience where we are first born again, we experience a "wonderful freedom" a lightness where the weight of sin, shame, and guilt is suddenly lifted. But for many of us, that freedom is quickly replaced by modern Christian checklists. We start loading up on religious expectations. How much we pray, how we serve, and how we give. Until that initial freedom turns into a heavy burden of performance.
You are hidden in Christ and clothed in His righteousness. On your worst day, you cannot diminish the Father's love for you, and on your best day, you cannot add to it. Grace is a gift to be received, again and again.
