À propos de ce contenu audio

Fierce Whimsy is a bi-weekly podcast devoted to intimate conversations about design, art, antiques, objet d'art, jewelry, Southern cuisine, music, myth, literature, history and small town Louisiana life.

Each episode, legendary New York decorator, raconteur, baker and New Orleans native, Marc Charbonnet, and his co-host, the esteemed writer and photographer, Brian Pearson, invite a cherished friend and neighbor from Marc's adopted hometown of Saint Francisville, LA, to discuss that week’s conversation starters, be it a French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Giltwood Dining Chair or a necklace that changed the course of history.

Over time, you’ll get to know these beloved friends (and a string of fabulous special guests) as we learn together about how the past informs and even enhances our daily lives.

You’ll be able to follow along at seetheville.com, where you’ll also be able to order a batch of

Marc's coveted Designer Bread Pudding or book a tour of the beguiling and charmed parish of Saint Francisville located just under two hours from New Orleans on the banks of the Mississippi.

For our very first *BETA* episode of the Fierce Whimsy podcast, Marc has a charming and intimate conversation with the talented Bay Saint Louis, MS, muralist and reike master, Kevin Wiggs. Kevin painted the fabulous mural at The Inn at Saint Francisville's Saint Dining Room. They discuss their mutual love of Saint Francisville, Louisiana, and the concentrated energy behind all artistic endeavors, big or small. Marc shares tales of his storied beginnings as a now legendary decorator in New York City before his move back to his home state of Louisiana in 2017.
