Fiduciary Alchemy was born from a hard truth: you often do not see the cracks in your plans until life forces you to. For host Craig Andrews, that moment came after waking up from a six-week coma. On this show, Craig welcomes wealth managers, tax strategists, and estate planners who help families prepare for a long, prosperous life while also protecting the people they love if life takes an unexpected turn. Listen in to build a plan that honors your family through all of life’s twists and turns.Copyright 2026 Craig Andrews Direction Economie Finances privées Management et direction Marketing et ventes

  • The Heart Side of Wealth Transfer with Melissa Douaire
    Oct 14 2026

A $124 trillion wealth transfer can sound like a math problem. It is not. The attorneys can draft the documents, the advisors can manage the assets, and the plans can look tidy on paper. But when money moves because someone died, retired, exited a business, entered caregiving, or lost the life they knew, the real conversation is happening underneath the numbers.

Melissa Douaire joins Craig Andrews to talk about the emotional economics behind inheritance, widowhood, family meetings, and major life transitions. She explains why so many families avoid talking about death until a crisis forces the issue, and why the objects, stories, and memories attached to a life can matter more than the highest-dollar asset in the room.

For wealth advisors, this episode is a reminder that retention is not only built through performance reports and planning software. Clients remember who could sit with them when life got uncomfortable. They remember who listened when grief, guilt, fear, duty, and money all showed up in the same conversation.

Melissa also makes the case for starting smaller and sooner. Talk before the diagnosis. Let values show up in ordinary family rhythms. Make space for stories. Bring spouses and next generations into the relationship before the transfer happens, because when the money moves, people often move too.

  • The Live Oak Lesson - Human Connection in the Age of AI with Craig Andrews
    Oct 7 2026

A centuries-old live oak twists, turns, and grows into something impossible to duplicate. Plant one under controlled conditions and it may grow straight—but it loses the irregular beauty that makes the original unforgettable. Craig Andrews sees the same tension in the rush to replace human work with AI.

Craig is an AI power user, yet he draws a firm line around writing, storyboarding, and finding the story. AI can reproduce familiar patterns at astonishing speed, but when every company uses those same patterns, the result is marketing that sounds like everyone else. Worse, teams that surrender the work risk weakening the very storytelling skills that help them stand out.

The cost becomes sharper when a customer needs real help. Craig recounts trying to resolve a FedEx problem after packages addressed to his home were repeatedly delivered 3.4 miles away. The automated support flow could not solve the problem or connect him with the human judgment the situation required. Sales faces the same limit: people buy from people, and trust cannot simply be automated.

The lesson is not to reject AI. It is to use AI as augmentation rather than replacement. Let it support customer service, sales, and marketing—but keep humans responsible for the writing, the story, and the moments where connection matters most.

  • Create a World Your Family Wants to Join with Charlie Carr
    Sep 30 2026

A family meeting can look responsible on paper and still fail in the room. If the conversation is only about trusts, investments, estate plans, and how the money should be used, the people who most need to care may quietly check out. Charlie Carr, Founder of Big Canyon Advisors, joins Craig Andrews to talk about why lasting legacy work has to reach beyond the balance sheet.

Charlie argues that the strongest family meetings are built around education, purpose, story, values, and family unity. The financial update belongs there, but it should not dominate the agenda. The better question is whether the next generation is being invited into a world they actually want to join, because adult children cannot be ordered into legacy the way young children can be ordered to take out the trash.

Craig and Charlie also get into the power of family stories, including the mistakes and failures that often get buried. Charlie explains why those stories shape culture, prepare successors, and give families language they can use long before crisis arrives. His rule is simple: policy before need. Create the governance, communication habits, and family meeting rhythm before a person or conflict makes the policy feel personal.
