TOP 10% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST!! Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What am I even doing with my life?" Do you put yourself in "time-out" just to catch a breath? Do you ever feel like you belong to everyone else—your husband, your kids, the chores, the commitments—and somewhere along the way, you stopped belonging to yourself?

Well Mama, you are in the right place.

Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready to rise into the woman they're called to be.

This is where you'll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you'll reconnect with who you actually are and start leading your life on your own terms.

I'm Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin' husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness. For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn't help me feel supported or seen.

Through real conversations, faith, and learning to actually lead myself, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.

And now? I'm here to walk this journey with you.

If you're ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.

So fold the laundry—or don't (honestly, it's clean, that's what matters)—and let's get our change on.

  • 41- Mom, Why Do You Feel Like You Have to Justify Your Time?
    Nov 3 2026

Mom guilt can show up before you take time for yourself—or afterward, when you find yourself explaining everything you’re still getting done. For stay-at-home and work-from-home moms, even a reasonable choice can come with pressure to prove you’re contributing.

An afternoon outside and an invitation to a workout class helped me notice that pressure in myself. Nobody was asking me to defend my choices. So why did I feel the need to offer reassurance anyway?

In this episode of Faithful Mama Rising, we explore:

    • How being the parent who’s usually available can become feeling you should always be available.
    • The difference between coordinating family responsibilities and justifying your time.
    • Why practical concerns and mom guilt may need separate attention.
    • Making a different choice while some familiar thinking is still present.

A question to consider: What does this situation need me to communicate—and what am I hoping to prove?

  • 40- Mom, Why Can't You Keep Up With Everything Anymore?
    Oct 27 2026

Feeling like an overwhelmed mom who can't keep up with the housework, homeschooling, family responsibilities, and everything else on your plate? You're not alone. And before you decide you just need to get better at managing your time, there's something worth considering.

I used to have laundry down to a science. Now? I'm practically waving goodbye to my clothes when I put them in the washer because who knows when I'll remember they're there again! 😂

And my first reaction? Frustration and disappointment in myself.

But what if the problem isn't that we're suddenly terrible at managing our time? What if our lives have changed, and we haven't recognized that our routines need to change with them?

In this episode of Faithful Mama Rising, we're talking about:

    • Why we immediately blame ourselves when familiar routines start slipping.
    • How our responsibilities can shift without us noticing.
    • The difference between self-blame and taking responsibility.
    • Why trying harder isn't always the answer.
    • One simple way to adjust what's no longer working.

A question to consider: Where have you been blaming yourself for falling behind when what you might really need is a different approach?

  • 39- Feeling Unsupported by Your Husband? Are You Keeping Score?

Feeling Unsupported by Your Husband? Are You Keeping Score?

Feeling unsupported by your husband, even though you've told him what you need? Mama, have you ever caught yourself waiting to see if he'll notice something needs to be done without you having to ask?

Maybe you're tired of carrying the mental load, managing the household, and feeling like you're doing it all alone. You want your husband to step up, take initiative, and recognize everything you're doing.

But what happens when that frustration turns into keeping score?

In today's episode of Faithful Mama Rising, I'm sharing a slightly ridiculous experiment involving our kitchen trash can. 😂 What started as wanting a little help turned into an unspoken test my husband didn't even know he was taking!

And here's what surprised me: Even when he did what I wanted, I still felt resentful.

Because it was never really about the trash.

We're talking about the hidden expectations that can create disconnection in marriage, the ways resentment affects how we show up for each other, and what God has been teaching me about trading scorekeeping for grace.

    In this episode, we'll explore:

    • Why feeling unsupported in marriage can lead to secret tests and unspoken expectations.
    • How to recognize what you're actually needing beneath the frustration.
    • Why keeping score can create more resentment instead of connection.
    • What I've been learning through prayer, Scripture, and examining my own part in our marriage.
    • How small, intentional steps and grace can help us begin rebuilding connection with our husbands.

Mama, wanting to feel seen, supported, and appreciated in your marriage isn't wrong. But we don't have to wait for our husbands to earn a passing grade before we begin participating in the marriage we want to build.

A question to take with you:

Are you giving your husband the same grace to grow that you would want him to give you?

Ready for some support in your own marriage?

If you're feeling disconnected from your husband, struggling with resentment, or tired of carrying everything alone, I'd love to help you find some clarity.

In a 60-minute one-on-one coaching session, we'll look at what's happening beneath the frustration, identify what you actually need, and find one intentional step you can take toward greater connection.
