ROBI QUICK is a bundle of energy. If you took a blender and threw in passion, enthusiasm, magnetism, talent, and a go-getter attitude, you would get Robi Quick. Robi is the Chief Entertainment Officer for RQ Entertainment, currently serving Sacramento and Placer Counties. But here's the thing ... he is willing to go anywhere to do his thing. He's an auctioneer. He's an emcee. He has worked as a pastor. He could host game shows. He is even testing his skills as a DJ. Bottom line ... Robi is multi-talented.

In today's episode, Robi and I passionately discuss his journey. Robi moves fast so it's important to stay locked in because you don't want to miss the nuggets of gold that Quick has to offer entrepreneurs who are looking for direction or a dose of inspiration.

Our Connection | While we weren't able to get to it in this episode, my journey with Robi started in 2016 when we both attended Bayside Church in Granite Bay. Robi was a youth pastor and I quickly saw his incredible gift. Because we both enjoy the same type of things professionally (auctions + emcee work), we stayed in touch over the years.

NICK PECORARO is giving Sacramento High School sports the coverage it deserves. He has been a one-man band in the game since the early 2000s. With stints on the print side and the television side (most recently with Cal-Hi Sports), Pecoraro knows high school sports. And now he has his own YouTube Channel that showcases high school sports in the area.

In today's episode, we learn about Nick's journey and why he is ALL IN with his adventure. While it requires a lot of planning and hard work, he LOVES what he does. While today's conversation is about the entrepreneur side of what Nick does, it is also a plea to small businesses to get behind Premier Preps as a sponsor so that high school sports in this area can be adequately highlighted.

AMELIA RUSH decided to go from being an ABA Therapist to the Queen of Balloon Creations in the Greater Sacramento area. A pivot happened a few years ago for this mother of two daughters. And let's say that she isn't looking back. Within this description of Amelia is a model of taking that chance to make a big career move. Yes! Amelia is an ENTREPRENEUR by all definitions of the word.

In today's episode, we discuss what was behind Amelia's decision. And then we pull back the curtain on the balloon creation business. Before this conversation I had a lot of fun questions.

Our Connection | I ran into Amelia two years ago at a school auction. There she was installing her balloon creation. What I realized is that this was the same Amelia (Sargis) that I taught in one of my first years at St. Michael's in 1994. Talk about an OG Full Circle moment.
