Hello and welcome to the introductory episode of our podcast recapping and complaining about the new HBO Max series IT: Welcome to Derry, hosted by Jimmy Bramlett and Brendan Whalen. This episode covers our histories and opinions on Stephen King and IT, generally, as well as the origin story for the podcast, which was mostly me (Brendan) yelling at my TV about something that happens in Episode 4 and needing to make Jimmy suffer along with me while I continue to tune in.
We kept this episode short, but it's impossible for the two of us to have a conversation that doesn't meander somewhat. In addition to IT we discuss The Shining (book and film), The Langoliers, and more.
