David speaks about his career in football, getting an opportunity to manage in the Philippines, coaching at various levels in the NSW football system and his time at his current club, where he goes into his 9th season with no signs of slowing down. 'Perko', as he's known, gives us an insight into Spirit's 2022 season where they won the Waratah Cup and gained promotion to the NPL NSW, what it's like coaching overseas and moving into a professional environment, as well as how he's developed his own football philosophy, one that's helped him gain a reputation as one of the best tacticians in the NPL.
