Under her leadership, Sickle Cell Disease attained a new level of visibility and recognition in Canada. In this episode, Lanre powers her truth about the pain and struggles of losing her brother to Sickle Cell disease and how she has turned that tragedy into triumph by helping others live through advocacy work to improve patient access to life-saving disease-modifying therapies and research initiatives.
