We struggle with this, as there is a difference between hearing and listening, when we recognise the difference we will realise what we can learn no matter others may go through.
We are capable of listening to the hardships of people, "we have two ears and one mouth, yet we fail to use them in the proportion given" We actually forget the impact that not listening creates/ develops and speaks. We was taught and shown this as children, yet we recycle the same unto others as there is a means that we can alter this for the benefit of ourselves and all them around us, in every situation, any and every person
