À propos de ce contenu audio
Louisa May Alcott, born 29th November 1832 in Pennysylvania, US, was best known for her ‘Little Women’ novels. However she was also a prolific poet and short story writer, both under her own name, and under the pen name A. M. Barnard, which she used to write more lurid and sensational works. Living in financial hardship with her family, she began working at an early age, and turned her writing into an income. She was active politically and engaged in many feminist and reform movements, and passed away at the age of 55 from complications of her long-term chronic illnesses on 6th March, 1888 in Massachusetts, US.
