A whale beer is defined as any beer an individual has been looking to find and try for a long time. Whales are usually some combination of the following: Highly rated. Hard to find. No longer in production.
In the first episode in our Whale Series, the guys grab a can of the OG. Heady Topper from The Alchemist in Burlington Vermont. Ranked the #1 beer in the world in the mid-2010s and the original Hazy IPA. Mark and CM were lucky enough to have a good friend import a couple of cans of Heady Topper into their fridges.
In this episode, the guys enjoy Heady Topper and discuss if it is still considered one of the greatest beers in the world.
