Progressive Christianity often sounds compassionate and inclusive, but does it hold up to the truth of Scripture? In this episode of The Anvil Podcast, we explore what progressive Christianity teaches, why it appeals to so many, and how it departs from the historic Christian faith. Together, we walk through its view of the Bible, Jesus, sin, salvation, and morality, and compare it to the gospel once for all delivered to the saints. We also consider why Scripture warns us against “another gospel” and how we can respond with truth, love, wisdom, and courage. This conversation helps us see why the gospel of Jesus Christ is not only true, but also the better story, one that frees us, transforms us, and calls us to build our lives on the solid rock of God’s Word.
