Hi, I’m Anne Alvares—Parent Coach, School Counsellor, and Mom of Two.

I grew up carrying deep childhood pain. I experienced abuse, control, and parentification, and I know firsthand how unhealed childhood wounds show up in adulthood—and in parenting.

My healing journey began nearly 30 years ago when I found the courage to tell my story. When I became a mother, I made a conscious decision: the pain would stop with me. I was determined not to repeat the patterns of my childhood with my own children.

Today, I help parents do the same.
