Join me and the lovely Bex Day (ft her adorable dog, Goo) as we cover multiple facets of BPD (EUPD) across this phenomenon called 'existence'.
Covering late diagnosis, career, relationships and medication, we also break down the lessons learnt, the healing done thus far, and what we wish for the future. Bex shares some fab things she's done on her healing journey that have helped her get to where she is now, and I sprinkle my personal little epiphanies on how to use aspects of BPD that are typically felt with a negative connotation, for good.
Bex is a photographer and director from London, who has worked across the globe with the likes of Vogue Italia/Mexico, The British Journal of Photography, the New York Times, Gay Times, Royal Photographic Society, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, and that is just to name a few! She has lectured about her work at Nicer Tuesdays (It's Nice That), Cambridge University, and has had her work displayed and nominated for a multitude of internationally recognised awards. Be it the transgender and non-binary communities in the UK, the impact of Covid on children, or 'celebrating the uniqueness of the vulva', Bex takes on the world by drawing attention to where her own focus lies - breaking the stigma and raising awareness on an array of groundbreaking topics across a selection of art mediums.
This episode is full of laughs, but heavy topics are discussed, so if it does get a bit too much, please do take a break. Get some fresh air, a cuppa or pet your pet; whatever will help you get back to a regulated state and remind you that you're safe.
Lots of love, AD x
