À propos de ce contenu audio
In this episode: We’ll begin by showing you our best bits from the season as a whole. Despite Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s dominance, there have been plenty of key flash points to look back on fondly as historical moments for these teams and drivers. We’ll dive into a tense qualifying in Monaco between Alonso and Verstappen – not to mention an out-of-left-field Frenchman on the second row! We’ll also look back fondly on our drivers’ highlight at the Dutch Grand Prix with a mega 7th from Albon book ended by the Papayan boys Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
We’ll also do a double take on a hectic Singapore GP, where we had many drivers in contention for a podium, plenty of action, and the only race of the season where Red Bull simply couldn’t dominate. We’ll end with a look at some of the challenging things F1 faced, including some safety and penalty concerns, issues with the television broadcast direction and the controversial sprint format. In our second segment, we’ll be joined by a variety of special guests from across Loughborough University.
Theo Silk will be conducting an exciting and informative interview with the chair of Loughborough Motorsport Society, Aron Dencker. We’ll also have a panel of guests hosted by Lewis Jenkins, including presenter of the Single Seater Space podcast Taran Glazebrook, Loughborough Motorsport Society member Euan Topley and Media representative for AU Kart Jake Connellan.
But it’s not just their thoughts we’ll be paying heed to, we also got some of yours from Sunday’s race too. We’ll get another look at what you had to say about the season, your hot takes and cringe-worthy predictions throughout this segment. Hopefully this will give you a whole new look at Abu Dhabi 2023 for Formula One and Two as well as the season as a whole.
Finally, we have our long-awaited driver rankings to end with. We’ve rewound time and closely examined all 22 drivers on the grid across this season to bring you an analytical, detailed and completely unbiased ranking. We’ve got some divisive opinions lined up here to round off the livestream.
We are super excited to bring this brand new exclusive format to you! It’s been a long and arduous process, but we really hope you enjoy our long-anticipated face reveal and extended look back across a tumultuous and adrenaline-fueled season of the fastest sport in the world.
