To Jewish listeners → God's creative power
To Greek thinkers → Reason holding the universe together

John is saying:

The force behind existence has a name.
And His name is Jesus.

Many assume Jesus' divinity was invented centuries later.

Historical scholarship shows:

• Gospel accounts written within 30–60 years

• Early creeds dated 2–5 years after crucifixion

• 500+ eyewitness claims still alive at the time

This is not legend formation.

This is near-contemporary testimony.

Then His claims are blasphemy.

But if He is God:

Everything changes.

The Bible is not asking for blind belief.

It invites investigation.

The evidence is stronger than most people realize.

John's claim still stands:

To those who receive Him,
He gives the right to become children of God.
